Working with us at More Sailing
Are you attracted to working on a boat in the Mediterranean and being part of a team that creates unforgettable trips?
Welcome to one of Sweden's leading tour operators in sailing tourism! More Sailing was started in 2009 and from the beginning the idea was not to start a company, but the thoughts revolved around sailing in Croatia. To get friends and acquaintances on this sailing trip, the founders Einar and Malin made sure to arrange everything around the trip such as sailing, cooking and all planning, as many of their friends were unsure of these pieces. By taking care of everything, they took on the roles of skipper and host on board. After the first trip, they thought it would be fun to sail for more than a week - can't a new group of friends come down? So they stayed in Croatia and eventually created a website and advertised the trips. After sailing seven weeks in Croatia in the summer of 2009, they were absolutely delighted, both themselves, their friends and the 'real customers' they had had. They agreed that the concept was fantastic and Malin and Einar decided that this is what they should do. Since then, More Sailing has grown and today we have eight full-time employees, over a hundred seasonal employees and arrange sailing trips in several destinations besides Croatia. More Sailing now also sails in Greece, Italy, the Caribbean and Sweden, but also long sailing trips across the Mediterranean and the Atlantic.

Advantages of working with us
If we are happy, the guests are happy - as our founder Einar used to say. A work culture with positive cohesion and collaboration among colleagues is one of our most important building blocks for our business to work. Working seasonally is not something you do for the money - it is something you do for the experiences, the personal development and the lessons learned and therefore it is important that we are committed and care for each other. Our vocabulary does not include "that's not my job" but we work together and learn from each other's different experiences and perspectives.
Gender and age are two irrelevant factors when it comes to who is best suited for the job of skipper and host. We work actively with gender equality and are proud to have almost equal numbers of female skippers and male hosts of different ages. Our colleagues come from different backgrounds, ranging from students to self-employed to nurses. Our workplace is a place where people come together with the same goal and drive - to make people happy. While guests live their lives in different places, we are the ones who work to make sure they enjoy and deliver one of the best trips of their lives.
